March 11th, 2008 – Charlottetown, PEI – In celebration of Administrative Professionals on PEI, the bestofpei Store is hosting an "Administrative Professionals Day" event, as our thank you for all that you do, on Wednesday, April 23rd from 11 am - 2 pm, at 156 Richmond Street, Victoria Row, Charlottetown.

Refreshments and snacks will be served featuring Island made food products; Embers chocolate sauce, Andrew's antipasto, bestofpei jams, and more. 

According to Wikipedia, “Administrative Professionals Day formerly known as Secretary's Day is an unofficial secular holiday observed on the Wednesday of the last full week of April to recognize the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals.

Administrative Professionals Day was originally called National Secretaries Day and was started in 1952 by Harry F. Klemfuss, of Young & Rubicam, in conjunction with the National Secretaries Association now known as the International Association of Administrative Professionals.”
